In the non-canon special features menu of Riddle School 4, it is stated that Mr. Kahm is described by Phil Eggtree as someone who "asks a lot of questions because he doesn't know any of the answers." His last name is a pun of the word "calm.". Kahm following the first game's events, it is presumed that he fled from Riddle Elementary following Quiz's takeover of the school. While it is unknown as to what happened to Mr. Kahm's class after constantly ditching his post as the hall monitor. Sometime in between the events of Riddle School and Riddle Transfer 2, Richy was put into Mr. Kahm fails to realize that Phil had asked that question to take advantage of his stupidity and escape the room. Kahm is asked by Phil if he could use the pencil sharpener, to which he replies "Only one person at a time!" However, for the rest of the school day, Mr. His high exudation of stupidity eventually drove Phil to so much boredom that he decided to escape the school. Despite his low intelligence, he does know when a student is about to leave his classroom when they head straight toward the door. Kahm attempts to teach him math, but much of his understanding in the subject was flawed (as shown by him writing 3 + 0 = 2 on his chalkboard) and he would often ask math equations to Phil because he himself didn't know what the answers were. 
Kahm had only one student at the time: Phil Eggtree, who was sent there after teasing a fellow student in the school cafeteria.
